Final preparations for Beijing
3rd August 2008, NewsIt is only a couple of days until I depart for Beijing. My sister organised a surprise farewell celebration on Saturday afternoon which was lovely. It was great to see so many friends and family before I head off to Beijing. Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a great afternoon, and a big thanks to my family for organising it all without me knowing. I am now getting all my kit ready for my departure. We have lots and lots of team kit to take. Adidas is the main sponsor of the sports and casual wear and Lee Cooper have provided our parade wear for the opening and closing ceremonies. We also have a Panasonic video camera so I can capture the whole experience.
